WORLD THYROID DAY - 25THMAY

 
Dear All,
Our last Information Event was held in March 2020 at the beginning of the Pandemic Event. Since that time circumstances have prevented the group from following on with their work in the community. However, we have continued to offer media and telephone to those who require help in managing their condition.

 

Our INFORMATION EVENTS will continue as soon as its safe.

 

Our updated objectives for 2021/22 REVISITED)

Our Volunteer Team continue with their meetings via ZOOM to discuss and forward plan our objectives for the future. We do however need more help as people and circumstances change. We need you to give some of your time to help keep our group functioning. Please contact me if you would be interested.

2. Direct you to Online videos recordings

I hope you are keeping up to date with what’s going on in the thyroid field?

The BTF website is an excellent resource for all manner of thyroid conditions and is updated regularly – www.btf-thyroid.org

Previous events and films are listed on their website under BTF films and events.

 

3. The Thyroid Trust a London based support group have recorded some of their meetings which you can accessed via Zoom / You Tube. Lorraine (London coordinator) has kindly given permission for our group to access them.

This group have excellent opportunities to get top rated speakers to their events which are mostly recorded LIVE

 

Wednesday 26th May PETER TAYLOR our cancelled speaker for our October event will be talking to the London group about cholesterol and thyroid disease.
